Round tables on program topics, technical assistance for new federal program coordinators, and individual time for working on grant applications with assistance from EED program managers and grants staff

Afternoon

Overview of McKinney-Vento requirements for identifying and serving homeless children and youth – Patricia Julianelle, Legal Director for NAEHCY (National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth); individual time for working on grant applications with assistance from EED program managers and grants staff

Who should attend? Each district is encouraged to send the federal programs coordinator and any applicable program staff. Business managers or financial staff members are welcome to attend, especially on the first day. EED does not reimburse district travel expenses for the workshop. It is an allowable use of federal funds to support attendance at this technical assistance session.
