The Connie Boochever Artist Fellowships
The Connie Boochever Artist Fellowship awards recognize and support Alaska emerging artists of exceptional talent. Fellowships are awarded by the Connie Boochever Endowment through the Alaska Arts and Culture Foundation. The program is administered by the Alaska State Council on the Arts.
The highly competitive $2,500 awards are available on a non-matching basis for use by the recipient to support the general advancement of his/her career. Any Alaskan individual artist pursuing his/her art form on an ongoing basis is eligible to apply.
The Council accepts applications in two-year cycles, rotating by discipline.
In the 2013 cycle, a select number of fellowships will be awarded to individual artists working in literary or performing arts disciplines: musicians, composers, choreographers, dancers, playwrights, screenwriters, actors, directors, writers and poets.
The deadline is Friday, August 30, 2013 at 9:59 p.m. AKDT. The application can be found on CAFÉ.
